Finally Got My Passport

So very thankful that i already have my passport even though they wasn't able to deliver it to our house... Got my passport at the other house which is no resident was staying there anymore, imagine got my passport at the old barn... So very happy now and i can sleep by not worrying...

Big Day for Baby Megg...

Tonight my Baby Megg will be crowned as 1st Runner Up as Little King Master at School... I'm so very proud of you my baby and be part of my life... Wish mommy was there when they're going to crowned you... I love you my baby... Muahhh, muahhh, muahhh

Employee of the Month and Best Cashier...

Whew, so very lucky this year in all my jobs coz been selected once again as Employee of the Month and Best Cashier at Walmart... Was so very surprised coz when i was on red lining and i just heard that our Manager, Assistant Manager and CSM's at Walmart called my name and when i look at them i felt i'm gonna cry coz i see that they are bringing balloons and certificate... Was so very embrassing moment also coz they've announce to whole walmart that i'm receiving certificate and i'm the Best Employee of the Month and Best Cashier... THanks to all my fellow associates and to my Walmart family from the buttom of my heart...

So worried about my Passport...

Today keep on calling the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines at Washington Dc coz it's been 2 months haven't receive my passport coz it says on the instructions of the Form that i got from them it just say that it's going to take 4 to 6 weeks processing... Hoping that somebody gonna answer my call please...

Too foggy...

When i get out from work tonight... So very careful while driving my car coz it's too foggy and it's hard for me to see the road going home... I just memorize the road coz it's my route every time i goes to work... Thanks God that i reach home safe... So you better be careful guys in driving the car when it's too foggy... Going to bed now, goodnight guys... See you tomorrow after work again...

My cousin called...

Was surprise coz Kuya Sitong called me on the phone coz he wants to let me know that the FlipFlops that my sister's birthday gift for me is on his mom's house... He wants to know where he can deliver it... So very happy coz he still remembered me coz it's been a long time since we've seen each other way back when we're still working at the Municipal Hall in Baybay...

Happy Birthday Papa Peddy...

Oh, my gosh i almost forgot that today is my dad's birthday... Going to Walmart to send him money for his birthday, that's just only my birthday gift for him... I called him and greeted for his birthday and talk to everybody... Miss you all, muahhhh

When i arrrive came from work i immediately called Papa to let them know that they're going to have a private mass for my mom's coz it's all souls/saints day...

Bored and miss celebrating all souls day in Pinas...

Don't have nothing to do that's why just playing around with the computer and taking pictures on the cam... My family in Pinas don't have to talk to me coz they're all busy don't know why is it that they're busy there... Hehehe, it's because they're all in the cementery coz it's all saint's/soul day anyway...

Sleep too very late...

When i arrive at the house cook immediately coz hubby is coming and when he arrive it thought that he's already hungry so i prepared everything and when he said he won't eat first coz we have to go to New Market to get all the potatoes that he's friend going to bring it from West Virginia. It's the potatoes that we planted in West Virginia, so we went there and after loading it all to the truck my golly thought where all done. So after he eats went to Autoshop to buy battery for my car coz it's not working well. It's already past 12am we haven't finish installing the battery and we're going to unload the potatoes to the building. Was so very tired coz have to woke up early for my work and also hubby.

Was so very tired and sleepy...

Woke up early to prepare everything so that i won't be late at work. Let my puppy go outside to do her stuff coz have to leave her at her little house that we bought for 8 hours. When i arrive at work feels like i'm not yet ready to work and it's also too boring coz no customer, just keep on yawning. And thanks that after lunch the store was busy and been enjoying and didn't notice that it's time for me to go home.

Was very upset with our Computer...

Got very upset with our computer coz we just got this back from repair and when i'm going to use it again still having problem with it. The mouse and the keyboard won't function, it's same problem that's why we send it to repair. Talk to the technical support technician, and do everything just to fix the problem but still no luck. Hope that they're going to change this computer to a brand new one.

Visit a Friend...

After talking to my family and friends i prepared everything for my lunch at work and then call a friend and that i can visit here before going to work anyway it's just a few mins to there home. She was so very happy when i visited here coz she don't have other filipina friend. She's just 2 months here since she arrived came from the Philippines. We chatted for an hour don't want to cut our long conversation but need to coz have to work. Anyway we enjoyed talking to each other.

Hospital...

After i talked to my families and friends, my husband arrive and i bring him to the hospital for his steroid shot... Talked to a doctor and he said that next friday his going to schedule my hubby for another shot but he's goin to put him to sleep... Gonna bring him back again on Friday... Going to ask for a day off so that i will be there with my hubby on that day...

Called State Farm Insurance Co.

I woke up early and that i can call State Farm Insurance Co. to report the accident yesterday... And they gave me the reference number of the agent... Was releave when i heard that all the costs of repair with Mr. Kurt's car they'll be the one to pay for it... If not huhuhu i gonna pay for the repair and don't know how much does it cost... It's with the bumper at the back of passenger sit where the gas tank was dented and has a little scratched of it...

Karma or it's just only a Badluck/bad day...

When i back up my truck coz need to go home and change pants but i do hit our Assistant Managers car. I saw his car when i back up but i heard bump i said oh, oh i hit his car... I told one of my co-worker that i need you to call Mr. Kurt coz i did hit his car... Hehehe, he said to me of all the car was here at the parking lot you hit my car... Are you mad at me??? But he laugh when he said that... I said ah, ah it's just an accident and i didn't meant it... It's good that Mr. Kurt is so very kind... Our Manager Jim and Kurt said that you don't have to say sorry and it's good that you're not hurt... Mr. Kurt is a sweetheart... Is it karma or it's just only a badluck/bad day to me!!! Thanks Mr. Kurt for not yelling to me with what i did...

General Cleaning...

Weeeeee, it's my day off... But have to clean the whole house coz feels like it already been a week that haven't been clean our house... Wash everything from curtains to beddings... It's gonna be a long day for me...

Checking for the Apple and Pear Tree

Went to the farm checking for the apple and pear tree. Work for how many miles before we reach our destination, imagine pappo got 100acres of land. Was afraid coz there's lots of hitch hiker and almost all of the limbs and grass has torns. They laugh at me coz i'm too slow and they're goin to wait for me... It was fun walking on the woods...

Busy...

So very busy at work coz it's pay check time... Lots of customer's buying groceries and school supplies... We can't even say hi to my co-worker behind and front of me... That's how Walmart been so very busy...

Washington DC.

My cousin and her husband fetch me up in the house coz we're going to Washington Dc to renew her passport... Woke up early to prepare everything and that i'm already ready when fetching me up... Oh, my golly bumper to bumper traffic... Been waited for 20 minutes before we move... But we enjoyed our trip... Here's our pic with my cousin at the Philippine Embassy

Sending money to my Family...

Send money to my family coz i tell them that we're going to buy a brand new motorcycle to use for my dad and sister to fetch my nephew in school... I already seen the pictures of the motorcycle that they bought and it's nice...

Get Upset...

Get upset with the people on the customer service that i've talk to a woman from india, talk to a guy from colorado, then talk to a guy from india again... And it took 30 minutes before i talked to a technician and he's from india... What we do was doing the system recovery and re-install everything but still when we're goin to surf the net still it crashes...

Computer Crashed...

Everytime we surf the net for about 15 mins our computer crashes and we can't even use the mouse and hit any keys of the keyboard to shut it down... We use the power button to turn it off and i know that what we do is goin to damage the computer...

Tired from Work...

Perry Judd's Family Reunion...

Me and my hubby went to a family reunion at Strasburg... Lots of family members was there, after we eat lunch we do have lots of games... On the first draw i won and i selected a collection of knives that's has Dale E. Sr. signature and i gave it to my hubby coz he was a fun of Nascar... Was so tired coz when we get home i just change clothes then go to work afterwards...

Spent time with my cousin...

Was surprise when i get up coz last night when i arrive home came from work, i saw bunch of pink rose and birthday card... Went to Woodgrill Buffet Restaurant together with my hubby, my cousin and her husband celebrating my birthday even though it's a day late coz got work yesterday... So embarrasing coz the waiter and waitresses sing a birthday song for me with matching cake, icecream and cookie then lots of people eat on that restaurant...

Happy Birthday to me...

HUHUHU, i got to work on my birthday... But so happy because i'm talkin with my family in Baybay CIty Philippines, they're the one got prepared food for my birthday coz i'm here working til 11pm tonight...

Return Call...

When i arrive this evening i do get a voicemail from HP COmpany and they want us to send the computer back in Texas... HUhuhu, don't have pc at home again....

Call Customer Support on HP...

Call the customer support at HP coz our computer crashes again... I talked to the service technician it the hardware crashed that's why it just freezes by itself and i can even hit any keys of the keyboard... Goin to send this back again to Texas for repair... HUHUHU, goin to public library again to use computer...

Tired...

Oh, my gosh woke up early coz goin to work at 7am til 4pm... Got tired when i get home coz i do have lots of customer on my register and when i get home i even clean and cooks food for my hubby...

Downloading Filipino Songs...

Yepeeeeyyyyyyyy!!! Day off again... Just here making post on my blogger and downloading filipino songs and that i can burn it on my ipod and mp3... Then talk to my family at home while waiting for it to be done... Been laughing at the songs that i've downloaded... I select Max Surban, Yoyoy Villame, Porkchop and Smokey MOuntains album... Bet all my fellow Pinay's and Pinoy's gonna love all the songs i've got...

Go shop while it's TAX FREE...

Just arrive from work, even tired still checking emails and make a post on my blog... This day been a busy day today coz lots of Virginian's Shop coz it's Tax Free then first week of the month... All of us cashier's don't have break even just for a second coz we all got long lines... LOts of people shop at Wally specially also that summer almost over and school starts this month i think...

Attend b-day party...

One of my friend called me on the phone if i'm available this day... I said yes coz my schedule at work will be at 4:00pm til 11:00pm and i ask why, she said that they're having a birthday party for his oldest son's birthday which turns 4 years old... Went there just to eat then goes to work... Hehehe, eat and run...

Lock outside of the house...

It's really a bad day of me, it's the first time of the month and first time of my life that i was lock outside of the house... Forgot to bring the keys of the house and keys of the car... Huhuhu, i just called Walmart and tell the Manager that i will be late for 30 minutes coz i can't get in the car... It's good that they understand and i called pappo to fetch me up here in the house and bring me to Wally...

Today just goin to enjoy myself here in the house by watching tv and surfing the net coz it's my day off... Yepeeeeeeeyyy!!! can rest my feet coz been standing for how many hours in 3 days straight...

Doctor's Appointment...

Just arrive came from my doctor's appointment... I was relieved that i already have my right ear checked and the result is a little bit bad coz my ear canal was affected... Got lots of medicines to take and eardrop for it... Don't know why i keep on having and ear infection on same ear...

Lot's of games and food... Yummmyyyy...

My hubby wrote a note for me before he leaves the house goin to work that i have to prepare and change immediately when i'm goin to arrive from work coz where goin to the carnival... Hmmmm, that's gonna be fun coz there's lots of games and food... Yummmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyy, can't wait to eat b-b-que chicken and home made pies and icecream... And most of all we're goin to meet our grandkids, it's gonna be more fun...

We went to Grandmo's house... I was surprised that my hubby bring along with us the puppy, i didn't know it that Grandmo gave one of the puppy that they have... I have another doggie but still i gonna missed Patty...

What a bad day... I said to my husband to better stay away from me coz i got fever due to my ear infection... Huhuhu, even though i got fever; ear infection i still work coz don't want not to show up at work... Poor hubby called immediately our family doctor and my appointment gonna be on the 30th of July goin to be worried for this right ear of mine...

Customer raises voice at me...

My first customer raises voices at me, huhuhu it's not my fault it's his fault and he's the one who raise voices with me... Coz his payment is $25.49 and he wants to pay it separately, $13.00 for credit card and the rest is for his debit card... And now when he swipe his credit card it went through and i ask him to swipe his debit card then he swipe his credit card again and when i tell him that it's the same card that you swipe first sir... Then he raise his voice and he call the manager that i don't know what i'm doing and my fault... HUhuhu, customer customer customer...

Gonna missed you so much Patty

Been crying for the whole night when i checked at our dog pen and see that Patty passed away. Dn't know what to do coz i been trying to call my husband's phone but i can't reach him coz there's no service on the area where he works... He ask me when he get home at night and tell me why is it that i got tears on my eyes... I can't even tell him that Patty passed away, huhuhu... Gonna missed my lovable and playful Patty... We love you Patty...

Missed Using our PC...

Oh, my golly it's been a while since i was working double job plus attending school and our computer was damaged with the weather... It was hit by thunderstorm, lightning and hail... So very mad and upset coz just bought this computer and it won't work anymore, it's good that it has warranty... I keep on calling HP company when is the fix date that they gonna send our PC back... Missed using our PC and blogging...

Checking our POTATO patch...

When i arrive came from work my hubby was already waiting for me on the truck coz where goin to West Virginia to check for our Potato patch... I already bought lots of hotdogs, burgers, burger and hotdog buns so that we can have a mini get together with his family friend who watch for our 3 acres potato patch... While fixing our dinner my hubby and his friend dig potatoes they where happy to see that it's some kind of a big potato and they said that where goin to harvest it last month of August or first week of September... When they show it to us i can't imagine how huge is it... Wish i bring my camera along and take picture with to show how huge is our potato... THank you Lord for a nice weather where we planted our potato...

Grandkids...

We've been preparing some toys and foods for the babies... This afternoon me and my hubby can't wait for our grandkids to arrive came from Germany to visit us and there parents gonna be assigned here in Virginia eventhough it's in Virginia beach...

Talking to my Baby thru Computer

Was crying tonight when i talked to my baby that i left in Baybay with my sissy and papa... He's growin now and i think he's taller rather than his mommy... Huhuhu, the days are so fast... Meet Pinay at Wally World...

Was happy that i meet pinay at walmart. When her and her fiancee went to my register i was in doubt whether i'm goin to ask her or her fiancee if she's a filipina but i was really curious of her nationality so i ask her if she's a filipina and she said yeap i am... I was so really very happy when i ask her where she live at and her fiancee answered that they live at Senedo Road and it's just 15 mins drive from where i live... Yepeyyyyyyyyy, i do have a new friend here... It's been a long time that i stayed here in Virginia i just meet same nationality and in same town...

Cook out in West Virginia...

Sleep here at my hubby's friends house... After eating breakfast ask permission to them if i can use the computer then at 6 am getting ready to shop for all the food ingredients needed for the cook out party here in my hubby's friend in West Virginia... All of us was very busy preparing for the cook out party tonight with fireworks... Can't wait for it...

Package receive to my family...

My family called here and tell me that they already receive the package that i've sent to them but they don't know what's inside the package. My baby was very surprise when he sees the complete set of Computer and with his remote control dirt bike. Lots of thank you that i heard from them...

Something wrong with my PC... Waaaaaaaaaaa

Waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh, there's something wrong with our pc was damage by lightning... When me and hubby get home from work he wanted to use the Computer but it won't turn on the power supply and motherboard was affected... Just bought this PC last February... HUHUHU... I called HP Company and complain about it and it's good that it's still on warranty but they told me that i have to wait for a month before they gonna send it back... We mailed our PC at Texas and i'm here at Public Library using the net...

Visit the Old FOlks at the Nursing HOme... And watch Fireworks Display at Woodstock...

Today was my day off, me and my hubby was getting ready coz last night we've been planning to visit the Old Folks at the nursing home. When we arrive there i immediately went to one of my fave and closiest friend who's been staying at the nursing home for almost 8 years, when she saw me she cried and hug me tight and been telling me that she misses me alot and it's good that i haven't been forgot to visit them there. My hubby can't imagine how close we are even i just been working there for 6 months, he saw us having lots of tears in our eyes it's tears of happines. Stayed there for almost an 1 hr just to talk to the residents.

Thought that we can't see the fireworks display coz at morning it's raining so hard and thought that they're going to cancel it... It's good that at 6:00 sharp the rain stops... It took for almost 40 mins for us to wait to start... It's nice to see fireworks again...

Trying to be patient...

Oh, my! Oh, my! This afternoon been trying to be patient with one of my customer coz after scanning all the items that they bought and the total is $59.04 then he paid me the money, i did even count and tell him that i receive the amount of money of $70.04 that he gave and already give him the change for the amount of $11. After 10 minutes he came back and tell me that i was wrong in giving him the change coz he said that he gave me 2 (two) $50 and 4(four) cents. Then i said that no sir you just gave me 1(one) $50, 1(one) $20 and 4(four) cents and i even tell you that i received that money you gave me. He said no you was wrong he even showed his wallet and tell me that he got 4(four) $50 in his wallet. It took as 30 mins arguing about the money he paid. What i did i turn off the lights on my register even i do have lots of customer been waiting for us to be finished and call the CSM to have spotchecked (count) the money on the register. After counting all the money the CSM told him that i was right. He didn't even say sorry to me. MAN my temper was really raising up and the customer's who've been waiting was mad at him of what he did to me. What a day!!!

Passed the Evaluation...

Oh, my gosh the Assistant Manager wants to talk to me. This is the second time that i'm goin to the Personnel Office. I thought i was in trouble but it was a good news. Yeyyy, i passed the evaluation and just waiting for me to be regular at Walmart as cashier. Ms. Cindy was explaining to me everything and they like my performance as a cashier. When i get home i told my husband about it and he was so very happy and even treat me to a dinner, supposed to be i'm the one who's goin to treat him to dinner. So glad that my hubby was very supportive also. It's really a blessings from God. Thank you Lord for this and I LOVE YOU

Yey, i'm the first checkout superhero at Walmart...

One late afternoon i was worried coz one of the CSM when to my Register which i was scanning some items for the customer and told me that Ms. Cindy our Assistant Manager at Walmart that she's goin to talk to me and i'm goin to turn off the light... I ask the CSM that i am in trouble and she said nope coz everytime if the manager or assistant manager wants to talk to us cashier or everybody who works at Walmart is in trouble, so after checking out my last customer to find out if i'm in trouble or not i went to the office and i ask Ms. Cindy if i was in trouble and she said you're fine honey i just want to thank you of what you've been doin to our customer and that you're doing a great job... I didn't expect that one of the customer called her about me and she's one of their regular customer... What a wonderful day for me to let my customer happy of what i was doing... Thank you so much Ms. Wasfford... I love you

Double Job

Whew, so very tired coz as of now i'm working double job while waiting for my two (2) weeks notice of resignation... I'm working now at Walmart as a Cash Register, hehehe so fun meeting lots of people with different races... My cousin called me and tease me that i'm a wally girl now...

Got a call from Walmart

When me and my hubby was getting gas this morning i got call from Walmart personnel and said that they read my application and said that i passed with the test that they gave to me... She said that i'll be there on friday for the interview and training me as a cashier will followed... From the time that i needed work nobody calls me but since then that i already have work almost all of the company that i've applied call me...

Thanks to Ms. Dot for letting me pass for the 40 hour training and giving me this certification... So very happy coz i'm a certified Adult Care Residence Direct Care now... One more to go and hope i can pass with what i'm studying now...

A sad day...

At 6:00 am this morning it's been a sad day for us coz 1 of our resident passed away... It's so sad that she passed away but it's better to let her go rather than to see her suffer... I know that she's in the better place now... Farewell to you Ms. Ellen, all of us gonna miss and love you...

Confuse!!!

Last night we have a rough night coz of the residents getting confused which room do they sleep... Two of our residents was very confused with their rooms, coz my co-worker move 1 of them to the other room which is not her room it's the room of 1 of the resident... Both of them was walking along the hallway back and forth of the 2 rooms... But anyway i told them that you have to stay in that room and in the morning going to talk to the management with it... Hehehe, i was confused also...

Spring is Here

Goodbye winter and welcome spring... I can't wait to see everything to be green again, the trees began to bloom and also the flowers... Time for us to let the lawnmower warm up coz soon we'll be mowing the grass again, i do hate to mow the grass coz our lawn was too very wide and big but i love to ride the lawnmower... Hehehe

4th of July fireworks display

Was very glad that the weather is very nice... Me, my hubby and our family friend went to New Market Battlefield here in Virginia to watch for the fireworks display even though it's too far from where we stayed... I was so very happy coz that's the first time that i've watch fireworks here in the States... Since i came here and celebrated Christmas, New Year they don't have that kind of display but my hubby told me that you have to accept it coz you're not on the Philippines now... I've enjoyed alot even though it's the day also that i got my 4 wisdom teeth was pulled by the dentist, would you dare with what i did... Bwahahaha

Back to my daily routine...

Thanks God that i'm feeling better now but here i am again back to my normal routine, school and work... When the residents saw me this morning they where all happy that i'm already back, and i'm happy that they welcome me with a big smile... My supervisor which is my best friend and treated me as her younger sister really ask me if i'm sure that i'm feeling better coz she don't want that i will be working for the sake of my health and for the residents... Thank you very much Lord and love you so much... Muahhhh

The making of Snowman

Hehehe, we don't have nothing to do with my hubby since he can't go to work so we decided to make my first snowman and i called it my first snow buddy... Even though it's cold we still make it... you can see it thru the video that i uploaded... Hehehe

Employee of the Month

Oh, my gosh... I don't know my feeling when they rewarded me as Employee of the Month at Greenfield Assisted Living coz i didn't expect that all of my co-workers and the residents would vote for me... I almost cried when i get the certificate and when i give my thanks to all of them... Thank you God for having me a good Employer, co-workers and all the residents i have now...

My Hometown Baybay

Last August 2007 Baybay was officially became a city in the province of Leyte, Philippines. Covering an area of 46,050 hectares, Baybay City is composed of 92 barangays, 23 of which are in the poblacion. The remaining 69 are rural barangays. Baybay City is classified as a first class city. It is situated on the western coast of the province of Leyte. Consist Of 4 types of climate, which is generally wet. Its topography is generally mountainous in the eastern portion as it slopes down west towards the shore line. Generally an agricultural city, the common means of livelihood are farming and fishing. Some are engaged in hunting and in forestal activities. The most common crops grown are rice, corn, root crops, fruits, and vegetables. Industries operating include the Jollibee Food Chain Corporation, Specialty Products Manufacturing, Inc. and Visayan Oil Mill. Various cottage industries can also be found in the city such as bamboo and rattan craft, ceramics, dress-making, fiber craft, food preservation, mat weaving, metal craft, fine Phillipine furniture manufacturing and other related activities. Baybay has great potential as a tourist destination, especially for tennis players. It is not only rich in biodiversity and history it also houses the campus of the Visayas State University (formerly the Leyte State University/Visayas State College of Agriculture and the Jungle Valley Park. Likewise, it has river systems fit for river cruising, numerous caves for spelunking, forests, beaches, and marine treasures. This richness coupled with the friendly Baybayanos will be an element for a successful tourism program. Considering the role of tourism in development, the Baybay City intends to harness its tourism potential. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 95,630 people in 19,517 households.

POPULATION

Population Based on the 2002 NCSO report, Baybay registered a total population of 99,689 showing an increase of over that of 1990 NSCO report which was established at 82,281. The city has ninety-two (92) barangays. Among the 92 barangays, the poblacion is composed of 23 zones which retained the highest number of 17,391 in population, and 82,289 for the 69 rural barangays. Urban-Rural Population Distribution In the year 1990, the urban population of Baybay was 15,034 or 18.27% while the rural population was 67,247 of 81.73% of the total population. The 2000 NCSO population count revealed a population of 17,391 or 17.44% showing a difference of 2,357, which indicates that there is an increase in population. The rural population registered a total of 82,298 or 82.56% of the total population with an increment of 14,941 from that of the 1990 count.

CULTURE

Experience Baybay’s unique blend of culture reflected in its various traditions and its dialect. As a melting pot in the western part of Leyte, Baybay has developed an interesting mix of culture through the influence Cebuanos, Waray and the Surigaonons. And although most Baybayanos have adopted an urban lifestyle, they have retained their distinctive traits and traditions, which makes Baybay an interesting and pleasant place to visit. The Baybay Tennis Club, located on 30 Deciembre Street next to a public and private school is an outstanding place to visit, with its three coral/clay mix courts and two hard courts, 25 meter six lane Olympic style swimming pool that is five feet deep all around, a spacious verandah beside the courts with great and inexpensive food and drink. As a tennis destination, the club is unparalleled in the entire south of Leyte and could be considered any clay court tennis player's heaven.



BAYBAY PARISH CHURCH


In 1620, Baybay was founded by the Jesuits. A church and mission house were built this year. Oral lore identifies the Jesuits’ Baybay with Barrio Punta or Catarman point, not with the present site of Baybay town. On 3 December 1634, the Jesuit Juan del Campo was killed by Moros in Baybay.
On 4 November 1663, Moros under Sultan Kudarat raided Baybay.

On 27 February 1836, Baybay was raised to parish status, under the advocacy of the Immaculate Conception in accordance with the episcopal decree of 8 September 1835. As of this year the first church in Barrio Punta (Catarman Point) is reported as in need of repairs.

In 1852, the present church in the población of Baybay was built under Fray Vicente E. Coronado and continued under the supervision of Maestro Proceso from Manila. In 1866, Fire destroyed the church except for the chapel of the Holy Cross. In 1870, The church was repaired and finished by painter and sculptor Capitán Mateo Espinoso, probably a local dignitary and artisan.
